Annnnd a fisher opens as we are sat waiting for the bus. The eruption is by the village we visited on the first day is about 10km away from the airport.

This morning we are in Reykjavik.

Our first stop was at a sculpture on the coast of a viking ship.

Then on to the Lava show.

They melt basalt and pour it into the room.

The heat was intense. The presents then played with the lava telling us all about it’s properties.

From here we went to the town hall. There is a model of Iceland which allowed us to review the trip.

Then out into the city meeting at the church at the 1230 to head to the airport.

Then to the airport via the presidents house no security at all it was a massive contrast to the protection at number 10.

That’s it home to the UK as the sun set on the Iceland trip.
