The castle we visited yesterday had an offer, so visiting this second castle was cheaper.
This castle was not in the same state of repair and was more of a ruin. It was very interesting, especially the cave which the hole castle had been built around. A cool underground tunnel that had been carved out. It created a secure store space.
Starting an 8km walk at 1700, at least the heat is not too bad. It was a drop down into a gorge, descending fast.
The first waterfall was just off the main path. Heading further down, we are following the river.
We then came to the point two rivers met and they met in a T. I have not see this before the rivers met head-on, then both turned 90° and headed off down the hill.
Now time to head up the second gorge we claimed steadily to the last couple of waterfalls with the sunsetting through the trees.
We also found a little scene someone had built.
We drove on to find a perfect little aire.
The night’s sky was perfect. I could see the Milky Way really clearly.
