An early start for a steep adventure. We headed up a track on route to our first peak the van is at 700m we are headed to 1473m

Although only 13km it felt like a very full on day. On the way up there were a couple of horses with bells around their necks like the cows in Switzerland.

Then we broke clear of the trees to find ourselves above the clouds

It was a hard slog to the summit but the weather was glorious. We reached the top and the summit cross and having seen no one all day there were 10 people on the summit. And about 25 horses.

The walk down was a more direct path, and it was not long before we were in the trees.

Back at the van a well needed wash the we headed off to find somewhere for lunch.

We found a park up by the side of a lake and spent the afternoon chilling. There were quite a few people here so we moved on to Oñati where there is a park up with facilities an opportunity to get more water. We have been getting through it quickly.
