Our last full day we were on the Normandy coast, and we started off at the British memorial. A somber place detailing the names of the men who lost their lives in the battle of Normandy.

On the path up, there were stone recoding the events.

The main memorial was vast.

We had lunch on top of the cliffs above port Winston.

The beaches

In the afternoon, we had a chill on the beach and prepared food for the crossing.

The next day

A 630 start to catch the ferry then a 2h drive from Portsmouth and adventure done.
