We started off by visiting the museum at the Le Mans 24h circuit.

Bentley’s place in the hall of fame.
There was a hall with miniatures of all the cars that had raced.

They had cars that had competed or copies of cars that had competed. They were in chronological order, and you could see the development in design as the years progressed. Right up to the A424 that was used in Le Mans this year.

After the museum, we drove around those parts of the track that are public roads with Katie providing the sound effects. There is quite a lot of the track that is public road.
From here to the centre of Le Mans. I did not really know much of the city other than the race. But what a city I highly recommend a visit.

A stunning cathedral part of which were roman temple from over 2000 years ago.
A local, possibly an official guide of the cathedral, stopped us, and we were regaled with the history of the Cathedral the Town and the area. Linking the area to Britain through the plantagenets.
After dinner, we went on a trail around the city. They have a light display on trees and buildings.
