I’ve been a bit naughty and not written in 3 days, so it’s time to catch up. The weather is not great today, which means we have had a cool nights sleep. As the rain is in, we head to some caves.
The caves were vast we walked over 2km, had a boat ride, a train ride and desended 300 steps.
The first area was an enormous cavern where stalactites in stalagmites had formed over 100s of years.

We then descended

On the lower level, we were in a much smaller tunnel.

And at the very bottom, a boat was waiting to take us through a flooded tunnel.

After the boat, there was a train waiting to whisk us back to the surface.

It was a brilliant visit.
In to the mountains
We drove through Lourdes and up into the mountains behind.

These were taken just after we arrived 15 mins later. This was the view…

Stayed like this most of the evening, but overnight, there was a sky full of clouds.
