We woke up and headed down to the river by the park4night. An opportunity to cool off it was already 30°C. The water was super cold but after a little in and out, I was able to go up to my knees.

After a pit stop in the shop we headed to a Dam to dam to have a spot of breakfast or lunch.
There was the most enormous grasshopper about 2.5 inches long.

The dam and lake were beautiful and we had the place to ourselves.

Time for a drive, we are hedding to a 1300s castle. Home to another of the Jesuits St. Fransice Javier.

St. Francis met St. Ignatius at University in Paris and was inspired to head off to Japan, where he died from a tropical illness.
It was 38° in the carpark time to get the air-conditioning on. As we drove, there was an almighty flash, and the heavens opened. The temperature dropped, falling really quickly. At the pass we are spending the night we are down to about 20°.

Looking forward to a cool night’s sleep on the France Spain Boarder.
