6am early start to get to the Causeway before the crowds.

We walked from a car park in the town closest to the Giant’s Causeway following the narrow gauge railway to the visitor centre.

The views as we walked in were spectacular there was quite a bit of swell waves crashing over the rocks.

First stop on the walk was the organ massive basalt columns rising from the ground.

The Amphitheatre was empty the vast walls of basalt high up.

We then headed to the Causeway

Continuing along the Causeway Coastal trail we saw the Portrush golf course still strewn with the set-up for the open last week. Bridges, screens and seating. The start line of the NC 200 a motorbike road race starting in Portstewart.
We visited the ruins of an 18th-century estate downhill House

We climbed and the tarmac gave way to a gravel track to find our home for the night
